About the project
Octopus Australia via Enervest is pursuing development approval for a battery energy storage system (BESS), with up to 1.2 gigawatt (GW) / 4.8 gigawatt-hour (GWh) of storage capacity in the locality of Bannaby NSW.
The Project site is in the Upper Lachlan Shire, approximately 20km east of Taralga, and 60km north of Goulburn, with a maximum development size of 12 hectares (ha).
Octopus Australia intends to manage the Project from construction, into operation, and eventually decommissioning over the anticipated lifespan of 20- 25 years.
